My initial research was heavily focused on business process management. I realized that while I am interested in that general topic, it is quite bland. I've recently adjusted my research into an area I am more passionate about - video games.
Scholars continue to expand their research using video games and studying player behavior. Most of this research was done to explore video games as a cultural phenomenon or to further an agenda (violence in video games or video game addiction). However, I am discovering that there is a large area of video game potential, particularly in the areas of how they can impact organizational theory.
More on this concept to follow.
